蔡蘇娟與李曼家族Christiana Tsai & the Leaman Family

「以暗室為禾場，以床榻為講台」"Her dark room as her mission field, her bed as her pulpit."

1874 年，年輕的長老會宣教士李曼（Charles Leaman）從這裡啟程前往中國。他殷勤勞苦、流淚撒種，最終安息在宣教工場上。

1906 年，江蘇巡撫之女蔡蘇娟歸主，與李曼的女兒馬利亞一同四處傳揚福音。後來她患上眼疾，只能待在暗室中得安舒。即便如此，她仍影響了無數弟兄姊妹的生命。

1966 年，馬利亞姊妹與蔡姊妹將李曼家族農莊的一部分捐贈給新成立的基督使者協會（AFC）。六十年來，AFC 在此服事北美的華人知識分子。

如今，在李曼當年啟程之地——賓州天堂鎮（Paradise, PA），這裡成為 AFC 的總部，承載著「向這一代華人知識分子傳福音」的使命，已逾五十年。

In 1874, young Presbyterian missionary Charles Leaman embarked from here to China. He worked diligently, sowed with tears, and then rested in the Lord on the mission field.

In 1906, Christiana Tsai, daughter of Jiangsu's Governor, was converted to the Lord. She joined Charles Leaman's daughter Mary to proclaim the gospel in many places. An eye disease later kept her comfortable only in a dark room — yet she influenced countless lives.

In 1966, Sister Mary and Sister Tsai donated part of the Leaman family farm estate to the newly formed Ambassadors for Christ (AFC). For sixty years, AFC has ministered among Chinese intellectuals in North America.

Here in Paradise, PA — from which Charles Leaman embarked — this place is now AFC's headquarters, carrying the mission to "reach this generation of Chinese intellectuals for Christ" for over fifty years.

培訓中心佔地 13,600 平方英尺，主廳可容納 200 人，設有餐廳、廚房、會議室、開放式接待區、寬敞洗手間，以及現代化的影音與纜線設備。適合 200 人以下的培訓、退修與聚會，也是您親近神、重得力量的安靜之所。The 13,600 sq ft center seats up to 200 in its main hall, with a dining area, kitchen, conference rooms, open reception spaces, spacious restrooms, and modern audio-visual equipment — suited for trainings, getaways, and retreats of up to 200, and a quiet space to regain strength from God.
